I designed one of a kind combination esoteric wine store and art gallery.
Organized public and private

wine tastings and art openings as well as wine dinners. Scheduled

caterers, winemakers, artists and clients for special events. I handled all PR- Press- Media events and had to maintain very strict budget and guidelines. I developed P&L software to establish accurate margins for daily sales and to ensure objectives and goals. I had to negotiate and secure the best possible pricing to ensure the maximum profit margin to compete in the market that was beginning to be saturated with retail wine stores and bargain wholesale clubs. I had to specialize in boutique or small obscure vineyards and hand sell in order to attain level of profit margin needed to maintain my wine store and secure its future.

 I had to constantly turn over new inventory and procure new events IE: wine testing’s with winemakers/proprietors along with Artist shows all rotating every mos. I also specialized in private VIP program and did executive wine placement/ wine of the month clubs as well as stocking entire cellars and personal wine shopping based on client’s personal taste/palate and notes that I kept based in a software program that I developed for their personal preference. I organized shipping and delivery service for my VIP program, wine of the month clubs and private client base. I headed a weekly newsletter and client list for special online promotions via Email and direct mail campaigns that I developed from my client base.
